Health & Safety Policy

 

The policy of Approved Window Cleaning is to ensure the Health, Safety, & Welfare of all its staff while at work, and to protect its clients and the general public from injury due to the Company’s activities insofar as that is reasonably practicable.

Safety will always be the first consideration in all matters pertaining to the Company’s activities.

The Company will comply with all statutory requirements, regulations and approved code of practice in dealing with Health & Safety where these are applicable to our activities.

We will ensure that during the course of employee training, in relation to specific processes, working practices or tasks to be performed by an employee, that safety would form an integral part of such training and subsequent operation.

Employees should observe all safety rules and conduct themselves in a manner to ensure their own safety and that of others. They must use all safety equipment, including personal protective equipment provided by the company and ensures that this equipment is not abused.

The joint co-operation of all employees in the observance of this policy will ensure safe working conditions, and consequently would be an advantage to all.

We will ensure the implementation of all applicable Health & Safety regulations insofar as is reasonably practicable.

The objective of this safety statement is to provide guidelines to all Company Personnel so as they can perform their duties safely, and to create an awareness of potential hazards in the work place. The Health & Safety Policy and Statement will be reviewed on an annual basis.
